🏥 Who Are We?
Movemedical is the leading platform for advanced inventory management in the medical device industry. Our software transforms surgical planning, field inventory tracking, and supply chain coordination for some of the world’s largest med device manufacturers.
We’re growing fast and evolving in how we deliver technical solutions to clients. As our customer base expands, we’re investing in scalable, sustainable practices that reduce custom work, improve outcomes, and deliver lasting value. Technical Consulting is one of the key components of this shift.
❓ Who Are You?
As a Technical Consultant at Movemedical, you will own the technical delivery of integrations that connect Movemedical’s SaaS platform with enterprise systems across the Medical Device industry. You’ll work closely with customer IT teams to guide integration design, data validation, testing, and deployment readiness for high-impact implementations.
This role blends technical execution with consultative communication. You’ll lead technical discovery, translate requirements into actionable integration plans, validate data accuracy, troubleshoot system issues, and help shape patterns that make our integrations more scalable over time.
The work is primarily post-sale, where you will own the integration lifecycle end-to-end. For larger or more complex customer programs, you may support pre-sale technical conversations to help scope feasibility and integration approach.
This role is well suited for a seasoned consultant who has delivered integrations hands-on, understands ERP and data flows, and is comfortable engaging with both business and technical stakeholders.
🔍 What We’re Looking For
• 5+ years of customer-facing systems integration or technical consulting experience in a B2B SaaS or enterprise software environment
• Proven experience delivering integrations with ERP, CRM, or logistics systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, Microsoft Dynamics 365)
• Hands-on experience with REST and SOAP APIs, SFTP, JSON/XML, and foundational data transformation concepts
• Ability to read and interpret API documentation, understand authentication flows (OAuth, JWT), and validate system behavior
• High-level understanding of relational databases (tables, indexes, joins) and comfort writing SQL queries for data validation and basic reporting
• Ability to translate technical detail into clear, actionable communication for both technical and non-technical audiences
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to navigate ambiguity and drive clarity with customers and internal teams
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including technical documentation
• Proficiency with collaboration tools like Office 365, JIRA, Confluence, and Slack
• Willingness to travel up to 25% for onsite discovery, validation, and deployment support
Additional Nice to Haves:
• Experience in regulated or healthcare environments (medical device industry preferred)
• Familiarity with data governance, basic security practices, and audit considerations
• Exposure to cloud environments (AWS preferred) or modern data tools (Snowflake a plus)
• Experience contributing to integration standards, reusable patterns, or internal process improvements
• Understanding of architecture or modeling frameworks (e.g., UML, C4)
• Working knowledge of Agile delivery models and the software development lifecycle (SDLC)
💥 What You’ll Do
🛠️ Client-Facing Technical Leadership
• Serve as the technical point of contact for integration delivery across enterprise implementations
• Lead integration discovery with customer IT teams to define data flows, integration approach, and deployment readiness
• Guide customers on best practices for interoperability, security, data quality, and error handling
• Present integration plans and system behavior clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences
🤝 Integration Architecture & Development
• Design, validate, and implement integrations across APIs, SFTP, flat-file exchanges, and ERP-driven workflows
• Define and maintain clear standards for data mapping, transformation logic, and system interaction
• Partner with internal Engineering teams to address edge cases, exceptions, or custom integration needs
• Identify repeatable patterns and contribute to standardizing integration approaches across customers
📈 Data Strategy & Validation
• Guide customers through data preparation, normalization, and integration readiness
• Execute structured validation plans, including table-level mapping, cross-system reconciliation, and exception handling
• Drive improvements to our validation tooling, testing workflows, and repeatable documentation
🚀 Go-Live & Post-Deployment Oversight
• Lead mock cutovers and deployment prep sessions with customers and internal teams
• Troubleshoot real-time integration or data issues during deployment windows
• Provide structured post-go-live support and ensure a smooth handoff to Customer Success and Support Engineering
📚 Internal Enablement
• Create and maintain internal integration documentation, mapping templates, and reference materials
• Collaborate with Product and Engineering to provide feedback and evolve Movemedical’s integration capabilities
• Participate in retrospectives and contribute to process improvements that strengthen our delivery model
📊 What Success Looks Like
Within the first 90 days, you have built trust with client IT teams and internal partners, leading technical discovery sessions with clarity and producing accurate integration plans.
You consistently deliver integrations on time and with high reliability, improving data accuracy, reducing exceptions, and strengthening customer confidence in Movemedical’s technical delivery.
You introduce repeatable practices, documentation improvements, or integration patterns that reduce risk and accelerate time-to-value for future projects.
